CHILDHOOD
Jason was born in Los Angeles, California and moved to Simi Valley at 2 years old. He played pretty much every sport available including baseball, football, golf, soccer and even bowling. He attended Chaminade College Prep where he varsitied in both baseball and football but he always felt football was more his personality... Jason was driven by passion, perseverance and the desire to make a difference in every play every day. Jason was an only child but decided early on he would never be lonely. He made friends quickly and was always the life of every get together and party he attended. He was a dancer like no other and one of the most charismatic people you will have ever gotten a chance to meet.
COLLEGE
Jason was recruited to play football at several colleges including Duke, but decided that he wanted the stronger football school with the better weather (being a California kid he wasn't prepared for snow). So, it was off to Arizona State University where he was honored to be a member of the ASU Football team for 5 years. Jason graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. He started his Masters Degree in Film and Media, but decided he needed to start making a living, so he put that on hold. Jason will forever be a Sun Devil!
THE START OF JASON'S MEDIA CAREER
During his last couple of years of football, the ASU media department recruited him to make videos representing the Sun Devil football team. He had a natural ability to speak to anyone about anything and always loved talking to people. So, it was a perfect fit. Jason fell in love with his on air duties and decided to make that his career. He worked on two radio shows for NBC Sports 1060 Phoenix. He also had his own feature segment on Channel 12 NBC Phoenix called Franklin Knows Best. With Jason's charm and personality, he was certain to have made a name for himself in the entertainment world. Jason passed away at just 26 years old. He left a significant hole in the hearts of all those that knew him. But he left so many great memories, we will make sure never to forget him.
